Your salary letter will indicate the amount that you will receive after tax. Unless you're self-employed, then you have to update your tax accordingly.
What you can do:
• Create your AU bank account online within a week or few days before coming here.
There's Commonwealth, NAB or ANZ bank.
• Activate your bank account in person when you have arrived here
• You have the option to do everything when you have arrived too. As long as you have AU number.
